Baseball, Birthday, and Baby.....

Whew! What a week! Here are just a few pics of the Stockton Cardinals at the USSSA World Series, Tate's Birthday, and The Brown's new baby boy.....Cannon Brinnton! Will post more later as we are headed to the Sac River All Star game to watch Drew!

Drew's sweet words.....

Last night as we were praying in the new year, Drew said something that was worth quoting. We all took turns praying about many different things and as the circle made its way to my sister, she began her prayer. She is 31 years old and has never bore a child, so one of her prayers was that if it was in the Lord's will for 2010, she might recieve this desire of her heart. As she was praying she began to cry. My sister is a pretty tough cookie and doesn't cry often, but when something is close to her heart, she can't hold back the tears. As she ended with her Amen, my oldest son Jake said, "Aunt Heather, I don't think I have ever seen you cry." She said, "you haven't?" And then Drew looked into her eyes, put his little hand on her back and said in such a caring, sweet voice, "she's not crying, she's just tear dropping in Christ." In that moment, I realized how intensly he had listened to not only her prayer, but to her heart. It was a very sweet moment, and I am so happy I was there to hear it. God Bless Your 2010, and your years to come!
